Harnessing AI to Accelerate the Energy Transition
This Changemaker Majlis, hosted by Masdar and the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, will encourage open dialogue and problem solving among a diverse group of climate actionists to explore Harnessing AI to Accelerate the Energy Transition. The intimate dialogue will discuss how AI is revolutionizing the renewable energy sector and contributing to the UAE Consensus goal to triple renewables by 2030.
Rooted in Emirati long-standing traditions and values, the Changemaker Majlis is a demonstration of the UAE’s model of present and open leadership as an approach to problem solving and an inclusive way of identifying clear and actionable solutions.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are integral to the global economy and the just energy transition. This convening will explore Best Practices and Innovations for SME Decarbonization and opportunities and challenges in the journey to Net Zero.

Intergenerational Majlis on Community-Led Climate Action
The UAE Ministry of Community Development will host an Intergenerational Majils on Community-Led Climate Action to bring together diverse voices across different ages to discuss how intergenerational communications can contribute to accelerating climate action. The conversation will highlight the UAE’s commitment to uniting people across generations and backgrounds and the priority that climate action is a collective responsibility.

Empowering Youth for Climate Action: Ambitions, Careers, and Global Impact will spotlight skill development and careers that can help support communities in the global transition to Net Zero. Hosted by Masdar Youth 4 Sustainability, the session will draw from COP28 lessons and COP29 insights to highlight youth-led climate initiatives and strategies for bridging global disparities in opportunities, especially between the Global North and South.
